Talent Peaks up-to-date with Organizational Design Training

At Talent Peaks, we believe training is key to stay up to date and help our customers optimize their talent and customer journey in the best way possible. That’s why our consultant Len van Poucke and myself participated in a really great training, conducted by Beanmachine. For this particular training, Beanmachine succeeded in bringing together companies and people of different backgrounds. All with our own organizational challenges and desired change within our own companies.
The ideal tribe for OD Training
These challenges made our group of 16 trainees the ideal tribe for an organizational design (OD) training. Our habitat for this 4 day-training was 's Hertogenmolens in Aarschot (Belgium). The combination of that great habitat, the individual habits of every participant and spiced great content from Beanmachine, created a cocktail of valuable insights that we were able to take back home with us.
New techniques and valuable concepts
The training equipped us with a lot of new techniques and we learned new valuable concepts, methods and tools that are very relevant in the organizational dynamics of our own young and fast growing company.
The overarching OD-framework (see picture below) is very easy to use and helps you start using the same vocabulary when discussing organizational design and the impact of change with colleagues and clients.

Guidance through change processes
Thanks to this training and past experiences, we will be able to guide our clients even better through processes such as:
• change
• change triggered by new ways of working
• digitalization of core and supporting processes
Guidance through Strategy, Culture and People
We already successfully delivered process and technology design outputs together with our clients in the recent past. Now, we are able to go beyond Structure (processes, roles and responsibilities and organizational design) and touch upon Strategy, Culture and People and dig deeper into their connections.
